It’s pantomime time again and the Revels Drama Group are busy rehearsing for the 2023 production of Aladdin.
Director Chris Adderley said, “I’ve enjoyed directing this panto, which has been a real team effort. I’d like to thank everyone who has been involved, whether on stage, backstage, Front-of-House or in any other capacity, who has helped to bring ‘Aladdin’ to Knowle Village Hall stage in 2023. All the hard work, over many months, has come to fruition, and I hope that you, the audience, will enjoy the show as much as Revels have in preparing for it. Let the magic begin…..”
‘Aladdin’ has to be one of the most magical pantomimes of all, involving Genies, a treasure cave and even a magic lamp. When our hero meets his ‘long-lost uncle’ Abanazar, he has no idea what it will lead to. Can he outwit the villainous magician and marry Princess Jasmine, the love of his life? Come along to Knowle Village Hall and find out in this adventure story straight out of the ‘Arabian Nights’.
