When Stella and Robert Drury’s young son is kidnapped, it is not for ransom. His kidnappers have an unusual demand – for one of their number to stay at the couple’s house for forty-eight hours. The plot thickens when two other men arrive at the house with news that one of the kidnappers has been murdered – but they may not be what they seem.  More crimes ensue before the story reaches a thrilling conclusion.
